XXXL Beauty: Rebirth of the Revenge Queen Recap, Cast &…

Ivy thought she was saving the boy she loved. Instead, she was being carved up for spare parts.

She'd spent three years as Landon's online girlfriend, sending him her sketches, dreaming out loud about fashion school. Then came the diagnosis—leukemia, tears, begging. Just a few hormone shots, he said. "It's quick, babe. Only you can save me." She asked him one thing before the operating room: what if this ruins my body? Will you hate me? His answer was smooth as glass. "You said you love me no matter what."

The surgery worked. It also turned her into someone she didn't recognize—swollen, heavy, a stranger in the mirror. And when she finally limped to the fountain for their first real meeting, she saw him. Kissing Margot. The prom queen. In front of the whole cheering plaza.

The Boyfriend Who Was Never Hers

Here's the part that makes your stomach drop. When Ivy stood there clutching her ringing phone, Landon's face didn't fill with guilt. It filled with disgust. She said, "You said you love me no matter what." He shoved her to the ground and told her to get lost.

Then Margot strolled over and dropped the real bomb in a restroom stall. Landon never had leukemia. She did—a rare blood type, severe rejection, a father with connections. Landon made a deal: trick Ivy into hormone shots that would wreck her body, harvest what they needed, save Margot. "He traded your life and health for the guaranteed spot," Margot laughed, forcing Ivy to stare at her own bloated reflection. "You're just meat he could carve up and sell for his future."

And the boy who once launched a "wild pursuit" after seeing her face on a video call? He'd been bragging about his gorgeous online girlfriend for three years. Now he couldn't stand to look at her.

They Took Everything—Then Made Her Sign For It

The bullying got worse. Coffee in her locker. "Tank" and "fat ass" shouted down hallways. But Ivy had one escape hatch: a design competition. Win it, and she'd leave for an off-campus internship.

Margot beat her to it. Ivy's months of sketches—the ones she'd once sent Landon, trusting him—showed up as Margot's entry. Ivy was dragged in front of faculty, accused of plagiarism, given a disciplinary warning and ordered to apologize. "I didn't copy her. I spent six months on this," she pleaded. Nobody listened.

After school, the pair cornered her under a tree in the rain. Margot waved the grand prize design in her face, then slapped down a leave-of-absence form. "So what if I borrowed your idea? My dad sits on the school board. He can get you expelled anytime. Sign it and get lost." Ivy lunged. Landon shoved her into the mud. He and Margot walked off, laughing.

Then headlights cut through the rain.

The Childhood Friend Who Kept His Promise

Gabriel—heir to a billionaire empire, in Europe running the family business—stepped out of the car. He'd seen the video. "Before I left, I told you," he said, voice shaking with barely contained fury, "if California ever lets you down, pick a place, any place, I'll go with you and we'll start over."

Margot shrieked about who her father was. Bodyguards shut her up. Gabriel didn't even glance at her. He wrapped Ivy in his coat and took her home, kneeling to wipe the mud off her hands. "I'm sorry, Ivy. I came too late."

She sobbed into his shoulder—was she an idiot for ruining her body for a boy who never deserved her? He didn't flinch. "You're not an idiot. He just never deserved you." Then he slid a stamped overseas exchange application across the table. "Don't bow to trash. Leave this place. Go where you've always wanted to go."

Remember how Landon used to sneer at her Milan dreams? With your talent, don't embarrass yourself. Gabriel had remembered them. When she asked what about him, he just smiled. "I told you, wherever you go, I go."

One Year Later, the Joke's on Them

The campus laughed when the news broke—the fat girl needs two seats on the plane. Margot called her a talentless attention whore. They were still laughing when Ivy and Gabriel were already airborne.

Milan changed everything. Gabriel hired the best rehab and fitness team money could buy. Ivy ate well, trained smart, and poured every ounce of pain into her work. A year later, she looked in the mirror and smiled for real—breathtaking face, perfect body, all of it back. Her fashion label, Rebirth, won the emerging designer gold award and shocked Europe. The media crowned the mysterious founder the decade's most gifted designer.

Then a gaudy envelope arrived, reeking of perfume. Margot's twenty-third birthday invitation. Come if you're not too fat to fit in an airplane seat. Inside, a photo of her and Landon on a yacht—two people who still thought Ivy was crying in the mud somewhere.

Ivy felt nothing. She turned to Gabriel. "Gabe, when can we fly back?"

"Anytime, princess."

So here's what's waiting: a party full of people who ruined her, a founder they don't know they've already insulted, and an ex who's about to find out exactly what he threw away. Will Landon even recognize her? What happens when Margot realizes the "joke" just walked through her front door?
