Synopsis

Sienna is a studious, overlooked girl who does everything for her boyfriend Carl, only to be betrayed when she catches him with a teacher. Humiliated in front of the school, she defiantly kisses Zane, the campus heartthrob, and spends a night with him. She leaves money on the nightstand, treating him like a paid escort, which infuriates Zane. Sienna's mother marries Richard, a wealthy billionaire, and they move into his mansion. Sienna is horrified to discover that Zane is Richard's son—her new stepbrother. Zane is rebellious and hostile toward his father, and he immediately recognizes Sienna. He taunts her about their night together, threatening to reveal her mother's gold-digging if she crosses him. Sienna refuses to accept the family and clashes with her mother, who insists she play nice. At school, Zane warns Sienna to stay away, but their mutual animosity only intensifies. Sienna vows to take down Carl by pushing her study group proposal, while Zane's friends mock him for being treated like dirt by Sienna. The tension between them grows as Zane's obsession with Sienna deepens, and she remains determined to resist him.

She kissed the campus heartthrob to spite her cheating ex—then found out he's her new stepbrother.

Sienna spends her days doing other people's homework and swallowing other people's lies. One reckless night flips all of it, and the boy who once treated her like dirt is suddenly sitting across the dinner table.

Here's how the chaos unfolds.

The Girl Who Did Everything for a Guy Who Deserved Nothing

Sienna is the bookworm everyone overlooks. She's also Carl's full-time unpaid assistant—doing his study work, finishing his proposals, chasing his grades while he chases other girls. Her friend Mia keeps warning her she's blind, but Sienna keeps making excuses.

Then she catches him. Carl isn't at some school event. He's in a private "teaching session" with a teacher named Susan, and the things he says about Sienna are worse than the cheating itself—like how he'd have dumped her months ago if she didn't do all his work.

When Sienna confronts him, Carl doesn't even flinch. He calls her a loser and dumps her in front of everyone. The crowd eats it up. Someone sneers about her dad's pension and her cheap clothes. Humiliation, served cold and public.

And that's when something in Sienna snaps.

She downs a shot, looks straight at the campus heartthrob Zane—the one guy who's always treated her like dirt—and says it loud:

"Who says no one wants me?"

Then she kisses him. And she doesn't stop there. She spends the night with him.

The Tip That Started a War

Here's the detail that changes everything: the next morning, Sienna leaves money on the nightstand. A tip. Like Zane was some paid escort.

Zane is furious. His friend Jack can't stop laughing—the guy who usually tosses cash at girls just got treated like a two-bit hire. Zane's threat is pure venom:

"You better pray our paths never cross again, or I'm going to make her whole life a living hell."

Sienna tells herself it's fine. They run in different circles. Different grades, zero shared classes. She'll never see him again.

Famous last words.

Her mother has news: she's married Richard, a billionaire with real power—and Richard has a son. Sienna walks into the mansion, ready to hate all of it, and freezes. The son is Zane.

Her one-night stand is her new stepbrother.

The dinner table is a minefield. Zane needles his father, makes a scene, and then drops the bomb with a smirk—he already got to know his new "little sister" very intimately. Sienna's mother begs her to play nice and make the family work. Sienna refuses:

"I'd rather be broke for the rest of my life than sell my soul like you did."

She swears she'll never accept this family. Zane swears he'll make her regret ever crossing him.

One Roof, Two Enemies, Zero Escape

Living together is exactly as awful as it sounds. Zane corners Sienna in her own bedroom, reminding her that not a single inch of the house belongs to her. When she demands basic respect, he throws her mother's marriage in her face:

"Respect from a gold digger's daughter who sold herself out just to cash in on my family?"

Mention her mother again, and he finds a new target—her. He backs her against the wall, taunting her about that night, asking if she was waiting for him to finish what they started. She shoves him off. He warns her to pray she never opens that door again.

At school, he's just as cold. Stay away from me, he tells her. She fires back that she'd rather die than be associated with him. But he has leverage now—if she breathes a word about her mother's gold-digging, she's done.

Except the tension isn't one-sided. Zane's friends notice. Jack teases him about the girl who left him pocket change and now treats him like dirt in broad daylight. And when Jack offers to run her out of town, Zane shuts him down fast. Then comes the slip that gives everything away—Zane actually remembers her name. The guy who forgets every girl five seconds after a hookup can't shake this one.

Meanwhile, Sienna isn't crying in a corner. She's done being Carl's assistant. She's pushing her study group proposal through and vowing to drag Carl right off his student council throne. "I was an idiot," she says. "That's done with."

The bookworm is done being used. The bad boy is falling first. And the ex who humiliated her has no idea what's coming.

So here's the question that keeps this story spinning: is Zane's pull toward Sienna real, or just another game from a guy who's only ever known how to take? And when she finally goes after Carl, will Zane be standing beside her—or in her way?
